i want to get a lcd hd tv, but i want to make sure a video game console will work!
You shouldn't have any problems getting a system to hook up to a lcd hd tv.
If it is an older system that runs on RF (re: original NES or Atari) there are simple (and relatively cheap) adapters available at any electronics store.
If it is newer, the RCA (red/white/yellow) cables simply plug into the appropriate spaces in the back (or side) of the TV. Sometimes there are HiDef cables that can improve the picture quality; ask when you get your TV - the stores that sell the TVs generally carry the HD cables (or component cables, which in my opinion are just as good - plus, they're cheaper).
If you start playing a game like DDR or Guitar Hero & notice that something isn't quite right, the menus for these games should have a "Calibrate Lag" option. The signal takes an extra moment to reach the TV. It's really easy to calibrate - you'll see a little logo & hit a button on your control pad each time the logo pops up so the machine knows when you're seeing it. Once you've set it, you can save your settings, too.

It will not work if you bought your PS2 that, unless somehow mod. U.S. are NTSC and PAL games are games in the UK.

Well, I finally decided to do it. A few days ago, finally made the difficult decision to buy the Nintendo Wii Fit Bundle. Okay I admit, this is not really that hard because I have a real bargain. When I received the e-mail package, I could not contain my excitement. After all, the Nintendo Wii Fit is the most innovative games and workout machine on the market today!
What's In The Nintendo Wii Fit Bundle?
As I unpack my Nintendo Wii Fit package together with the anxiety I have noticed that there are a number of items included. It is the game of Nintendo Wii console, Wii Fit Balance Board and a peripheral accessories such as the console stand, remote control of the game console, nunchuck, power adapter and AV cables. Included with the Balance Board is a software disc of which contains activities or exercises such as yoga, body balance, strength training and aerobic exercise and routines.
My Wii game console also comes with 5 games Wii Sports tennis, bowling, baseball, golf and boxing. Now, you need the Wii game console before the system is applied Wii Fit. When I was planning my first purchase, I realized that there were many packages selling at prices defying all web. But beware, most of them do not understand the game console Wii! You may end paying more if purchased separately. If it does not the Wii game console, the cheaper option is the Wii Fit bundle as retailers tend to package them into a price more attractive.
My Experience in Training Nintendo Wii Fit
After setting up the Wii Fit, I started working on her with a heart rate monitor strapped to the wrist. It took a while for me to get used to navigate the menus but, frankly, are fairly easy to use. It may take some time beyond the duration of your workouts, but I'm sure we can minimize once more familiar with the system.
What I saw was an activity that has given me a good workout as I expected. The section football game was a disappointment and not even lift my heart above the minimum rate. And when I compared my statistics across activities such as yoga, weight training, aerobics and balance, the aerobic section stood out.
My favorite for this match was the hula hoop. As I tried to balance, to keep all circles in the air as it gets a little more, by increasing the heart rate to 172bpm. Not only was a good workout, which was very fun and enjoyable.
Maybe you will ask: "So do you think of the Nintendo Wii Fit is a good way to lose weight? ". Personally, I do not think Wii Fit can really help you lose much weight on the nature of the activities in question. Maybe one or two pounds per week. But I'm sure it will be very effective in another department of his life.
