Lack of hard disk in Windows XP?
I have 3 hard drives. The other day I was unpacking a. RAR file in my E drive and for some why my computer just shut down, almost as if a short duration. I opened my checked all possible connections and searched outside the field issues and found nothing, so I rebooted and disk E disappeared. The BIOS detects Windows, but did not. I restarted again and it was then I was fine. This morning I started my computer and again, not the E drive is restarted again, but as a matter of fact I am writing this question, simply disappear again. assistance. Not shown in the Administrator devices.
You said that you have 3 hard drives. Can you check the disk with one hard question of hard drive cables and / or its interface ports motherboard, so you can eliminate the connection problems. Sounds like the drive is faulty and in any case, you must immedietley backup of all data important. Sometimes the Windows event log will give you clues about what happens in May: Click "My Computer", select "Manage" in the event, then 'logs' and 'system'.
